Psychological Support for Internationals
In-Person in The Hague & Online
Therapy services in English and Greek for adults, adolescents, and children
Direct booking — No GP referral needed
Hi, I'm Epameinondas (Nondas) Leimonis, an NIP- and SKJ-registered psychologist with an MSc in Clinical Psychology, offering therapy services for adults, adolescents and children. I'm based in The Hague, working with the international and expatriate community in the Netherlands. I offer in-person sessions locally, and online sessions for clients throughout the EU/EEA.
My practice takes its name, Methexis, from an ancient Greek term meaning active participation, and shared connection. It's a concept explored by philosophers like Plato to describe how the individual takes part in something larger than themselves. That idea shapes how I work: therapy isn't something done to you, but a collaborative process we build together, exploring your story, working through what's challenging, and shaping meaningful change side by side.
Growing up in Greece, olive trees were simply part of the landscape, the kind of thing you stop noticing until you leave. It was only later, living abroad myself, that I came to appreciate what they'd always quietly stood for: an ability to root deeply, bend without breaking, and keep growing through hard seasons. That's the same quality I hope to help others find in themselves, which is why the olive branch sits at the heart of my logo, cradled by a pair of hands, reflecting the same sense of care and support I aim to bring into our work together.
Whether you're an adult navigating a life transition or seeking personal growth, a teenager working through something difficult, or a parent looking for support for your child or teenager, I welcome you into a warm, non-judgmental and confidential space, in English or in Greek, to explore your story together.

A Space for Connection and Growth
What I Can Help With
You don’t need a clear reason, a diagnosis or a crisis to reach out. If something is weighing on you, it’s worth talking about.
· Life Abroad & Transitions ·
Settling into a new country, or feeling between two homes
· Identity & Belonging ·
Questioning who you are,
or where you fit
· Self-Worth ·
Quieting a harsh inner critic and building self-compassion
· Stress & Low Mood ·
When anxiety, stress or sadness weigh on daily life
· Relationship Patterns ·
Repeating the same struggles with partners, family or friends
· Children & Adolescents ·
Supporting young people, and their parents, through change
Inner peace is not the absence of life's noise or internal conflict; it is the quiet confidence that comes from understanding your own story, accepting your roots, and feeling connected to something larger than yourself.
Let’s connect!
Reaching out can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal for that to feel difficult, even a little scary. Whenever you’re ready, I'm here to listen to your questions or concerns, with no pressure and no commitment. It all starts with a free introductory call, where we talk about what’s bringing you here and decide together whether working with me feels right for you.
